Quirk meaning

The word 'quirk' is defined by the Cambridge dictionary as 'an unusual habit or part of someone's personality, or something that is strange and unexpected.' A good example of this could be a person's mannerisms or something eccentric about them. For example, if someone liked to collect gnomes or liked dressing up in a strange or peculiar way in public, they could be described as 'quirky'.
