Quirk meaning

Many players struggled with this challenge because they were simply unfamiliar with this term. The word is not a particularly common word that appears in everyday life. So what does the word quirk mean?

The word 'quirk' is defined by the Cambridge dictionary as 'an unusual habit or part of someone's personality, or something that is strange and unexpected.' A good example of this could be a person's mannerisms or something eccentric about them. For example, if someone liked to collect gnomes or liked dressing up in a strange or peculiar way in public, they could be described as 'quirky'.
