Strictly curse strikes again? Kai Widdrington and Nadiya Bychkova are rumored to be dating

Fans think that the Strictly curse may have struck again as professional dancers Kai Widdrington and Nadiya Bychkova are seen checking into a hotel together.

Nadiya Bychkova and Kai Widdrington, are rumored to be dating as the pair were seen checking into a hotel together during the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour 2022. 

Kai Widdrington, who was partnered with AJ Odudu during the most recent Strictly series, was in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend of five years Giulia Dotta until just recently in 2021 when the pair broke up. 

Similarly, Nadiya who was most recently in a Strictly couple with Dan Walker and one of the judges' favorite couples in the competition, was engaged to footballer Matija Škarabot but the couple ended their long term relationship just recently in 2021. 

It has now been rumored that Kai and Nadiya have been able to heal their broken hearts by seeking comfort with one another as they have begun dating during the Strictly live tour.

A source told The Sun, “It was low-key at first but they can’t help it now—they’re very much together. Kai was outside the hotel for about 15 minutes and waited until everyone else in the touring party had checked in—but Nadiya came along a short while later."

“She handed him her bags, and together they went and checked into a room. It’s clear they’re a proper item.”

Another onlooker said, “Kai and Nadiya didn’t seem at all secretive about their relationship – they’re a couple like any other.”

Although Kai and Nadiya have not confirmed their romance, sources close to them have confirmed that the couple has been getting closer for months and have already established a close bond.

The insider explained, “Nadiya and Kai have incredible chemistry and a very strong friendship."

“Right from week one they connected and are always laughing and messing about. Nadiya and Matija actually separated months ago and, obviously, Nadiya confided in Dan at the time. Kai, meanwhile, has also been brilliant and she confided in him throughout the series.”

This isn't the first time that there have been rumors about the Strictly Curse during the 2021 series. Fans loved Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice's on-screen chemistry and the couple fueled the rumors by saying their bond is 'more than dancing.' 

Despite denying they were in a relationship, fans refused to believe that Rose and Giovanni's Strictly chemistry wasn't the real deal and Giovanni was ultimately forced to break his silence and address dating rumors confirming that they were not a couple.
