  • It’s clear to most that royal siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte are as thick as thieves. When seen out and about together, the sweet royals are often pictured playing or messing about together – just like all brothers and sisters.

And it seems as though, like many siblings, the young Princess is keen to after her big brother in an adorable way, with her brand new hobby.

The 2-year-old, who is just a few years younger than her 4-year-old brother, has reportedly found a love for a certain family sport recently.

According to The Sun, the sweet young royal has taken a shine to tennis, in much the same way as older sibling Prince George.

Reportedly, the future heir-to-the-throne has recently been enrolled in the Hurlingham Club, a private members’ sports and social club in London, by mum and dad Catherine and William, in order to pursue her new-found passion for the sport.

A source allegedly revealed, “She might not be three until May but they were convinced she’d love it and so far she has. She seems a bit of a natural.”

And it seems the Princess has closely followed Prince George into the sport, with the Duchess of Cambridge revealing earlier this year that he has also shown an interest in tennis.

During a visit to the Lawn Tennis Association earlier, coach Sam Richardson revealed that the Duchess had asked for tips on improving her son’s skill in the sport.

“She says with George just being four he wants to whack a ball, so she was asking what sort of stuff should she be doing. They will struggle at that age to hit a ball. She said he’s interested in it, but more in whacking the ball.”

The two royal siblings are clearly taking after their parents with their love of tennis too, as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are well-known to be keen tennis fans.

She and William are regular visitors to the annual Wimbledon tournament, and Catherine has recently been made patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, a role handed down to her from the Queen.

The Duchess has also previously said of Wimbledon, “The atmosphere there is just incredible…it’s hugely special.”
