  • This weekend, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their public debut by attending the Audi Polo Challenge in Ascot, Berkshire. And if the pictures of the 2-day event are anything to go by, the pair are very smitten with one another.

US actress Meghan joined Harry from across the pond in Coworth Park. She made sure to cheer him on from the sidelines while he played in the polo match, and was seen clapping and smiling at the prince from a stand above the grounds.

royal watchers have commented on the fact that the outing shows just
how serious Harry and Meghan are about each other. And, given the
strength of their relationship, the Daily Telegraph has revealed that Harry will be bringing Meghan along to Pippa Middleton’s wedding on 20th May.

Meghan chose to wear a stunning navy blue, full-length Antonio Berardi gown and a sophisticated white blazer for the occasion. The actress completed the look in a pair of blacked-out sunglasses, and, later in the day, a full-length nude Burberry trench.

The couple were also seen in a rare moment of public affection during the day, as Meghan joined Harry following the end of the race. The pair were seen kissing and cuddling behind a parked car, as Meghan exchanged a few words of support to the royal.

It seems that an outing at a polo match is also somewhat of a rite of passage for a serious royal romance – William and Catherine were pictured together at an event in the very early stages of their relationship too.

During the course of the day, Prince Harry was also joined by his brother Prince William, who took part in the polo match alongside him. And on the second day, the brothers were clearly doing something right, leading their team to victory in the match.

The royals are actually experienced polo players – so, evidently, a triumph wasn’t going to be too tricky for them!

The exclusive event was also attended by an array of famous faces including Emma Stone, Gemma Arterton, and Vicky McClure, of The Replacement and Line of Duty fame. Tom Hardy and Matt Smith also put in an appearance, as did Eddie Redmayne and his wife, Hannah Bagshaw.
