Our March Cover Star Says She Dresses For Other Women…

What do we love most about our March cover star, Twiggy? She refuses to accept you have to dress a certain way at a certain age. Music to your ears? We thought so! It’s always been about attitude not age at woman&home and Twiggy embodies our philosophy 100%.

‘I don’t like it when people say, “you’re 45, so you should be wearing X and never Y”. Women dress for themselves and for other women – not men,’ says Twiggy.

Her new spring collection for Marks & Spencer is due to hit stores and online soon and in this month’s issue we asked Twiggy to pass on her wealth of fashion experience to a group of woman&home style testers. The results look fantastic as Twiggy solved each and every style dilemma with brilliant tips that are still trend-led.

‘I’m very involved [with my M&S collection] every step of the way, from design meetings to choosing colours and fabrics. And as a result, everything I design, I wear, and I love and adore,’ she explains.

Twiggy is joined in our issue by another ageless icon, Oprah Winfrey. Full of wisdom as always, Oprah recently turned 60 and her refreshing outlook is something we can all aspire to: ‘Worry less, find wonderful mentors and learn something new every year.’ Sage words Oprah!

Along with some of our favourite celebrities, you’ll find our edit of the best trends to buy into this spring and our fabulous Fashion Edit bonus section – nine pages of tempting bags, shoes and accessories to give your spring look a 2014 spin. We challenge you to resist!

So why not pick up the new March issue, on sale Thursday 30 January 2014, or download it to your tablet and enjoy that welcome mantra we all need reminding of ‘Love the age you are!’
