Well, sort of

Ch-ch-changes! Katy Perry has just debuted a hair transformation, which adds her to the seemingly never-ending list of celebrities spicing up their look lately. Perhaps we can attribute this bout of creativity to quarantine.

The singer took to Instagram—all in the name of an American Idol shoutout—to show off a roaringly-good ensemble: a low-cut cheetah print tank with long, dark locks and side-swept bangs. It's certainly a change from her playful blonde, but this wig does look like a throwback to an old-school Katy look, don't you think?

Over one million likes poured in, as well a slew of fire emojis in the comments. Katy's husband, Orlando Bloom, took this sultry selfie as an opportunity to give his wife a little reminder: "baby we’re all out of oat milk," he wrote.

Meanwhile, we caught Chrissy Teigen playing with a bunch of new styles, most recently a rosé-tinted shade. The social-media-savvy celeb recently quit Twitter, but she is filling the void by posting her new eccentric looks on Instagram. Joking that she found her "midlife crisis look," Chrissy previously showed off light-blue strands (a wig) before she decided to go pretty in pink.

Then you have Salma Hayek going the natural route with her insanely gorgeous beach waves. Not only did Salma take the opportunity to post a fun shot, but she put her heritage pride on full display for her nearly 18 million followers. "My #hair channeling a Latina-Arab #farrahfawcett. Mi #cabello canalizando una latina-Arabe Farra. #latina #arab," she wrote on Instagram.

If you're thinking about playing up a new 'do for the spring, you'll want to get in on the bubble ponytail trend a la Priyanka Chopra.  The look doesn't require too much maintenance (but you'll still want to stock up on the best hair dryer, the best hair straighteners, and the best hair styling products for good measure).
