"I hope you’re happy @imacelebrity you’ve ruined my night completely!" one sad fan wrote on Twitter.
"Sometimes I wonder if people are watching the same programme as me... how can you vote 2 of the most chatty and fun people out! #ImACeleb," said another.
A third added: "I wasn't expecting to see @vicderbyshire to go tonight. That's a bit of a shock, I won't lie."
Others argued that the wrong two celebrities were given the boot from camp.

"Who in their right MIND is keeping AJ AND RUSSEL in over VICTORIA AND BEV?? Are you mad?? Are you off your head?? You need to take a long hard look at yourself and don’t ever talk to me again #ImACeleb," one angry fan wrote on Twitter.
Another posted: "Sorry but who was voting for Russell over Victoria #ImACeleb." A third added: "Who is voting for Jess and AJ????? Gutted to see Bevlar & Victoria go!!!"
At least Beverley and Victoria will enjoy a good night's sleep as they head off to the Carden Park Hotel in nearby Cheshire.
