Eamonn and Ruth share have some exciting news to fans' delight: 'I can't wait to laugh with you both'

Good news, we'll be seeing more of favourite duo on the screens.
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are taking on more responsibilities and presenting duties on This Morning, it was revealed on Monday via Eamonn's Instagram that they will be presenting the popular daytime show over the half-term holidays.
They have been gracing our screens as a duo since 2006, where they first started presenting This Morning on a Friday. They have had ventures outside of the loved programme too. In 2014, they co-hosted ten episodes of the ITV quiz show Gift Wrapped; In 2015, Ruth and Eamonn have presented Channel 5 series How the Other Half Lives and from March 2018, they co-presented Do the Right Thing.
The news of their increased presenting duties comes right after Eamonn's 40 year TV anniversary, where he began his career at Ulster Television.

Many viewers were delighted at the good news of seeing our favourite couple on the screens more. One person said, "I will definitely be tuning in or at least have you both on sky planner for later in the day. You are a breath of fresh air in these suffocating times."
And another said, "whilst off on my maternity leave I loved watching you over the summer and at long last you're back. Two of the best people to take it, I can't wait to get a laugh with you both. You definitely make it more interesting and fun to watch. Looking forward to watching yous this week."

As it is school holidays, the tradition goes that Eamonn and Ruth often replace Holly and Phil. Ruth also confirmed this on her Instagram by saying, "it’s half term so me and him indoors... Eamonn and I are on This Morning this week....hope you can join us 10.00 - 12.30."
