Countdown star Carol Vorderman and daughter mistaken for 'sisters' in new snap
Carol Vorderman is looking better than ever!

Countdown star, Carol Vorderman, and her daughter, Katie King, have been mistaken for “sisters” in a brand new photo of the pair.
The TV and radio star shared the picture with her 29-year-old daughter, Katie, on Twitter to celebrate Year 7 maths being added to her online school, Maths Factor.
Alongside the snap, she wrote, “Newly out today… Year 7 Maths on my maths school @themathsfactor. The teachers are me AND my daughter Katie @KKing_5 (now a research scientist… and a great teacher herself) #LikeMotherLikeDaughter.”

Katie looks gorgeous in red as she towers over her mum, Carol - who is dressed in all black.
Fans flocked to compliment the ladies, with lots of messages suggesting these two are more like sisters than mother and daughter.
“You look like sisters,” wrote one fan. While another said, “Definitely has the makings of a Vorderman mark 2.”
Carol enjoys a close relationship with Katie - whom she shares with ex-husband Patrick King.

The pair were married for ten years. It was Carol’s second marriage, having been married to Christopher Mather from 1985-1986.
Carol has since said she will never marry again, after admitting she’s “not very good at it”. Carol also recently revealed why she wants to stay single.
She admitted, “I can’t see myself walking down the aisle again. Marriage isn’t something I’m particularly good at – I’ve already failed twice!”
The mum-of-two is well known for her maths skills and starred on Countdown for 26 years from 1982 to 2008.

The 59-year-old went on to launch her own online maths school in 2010 - which has soared in popularity this year after covid-19 forced children to be homeschooled.
In fact, The Maths Factor was forced to upgrade its serves to cope with a surge in visitors.
During the first lockdown Carol even offered free maths lessons to parents having to homeschool their children.

On her decision to open up her online learning portal, she said, “As we enter what may be a stressful and unsettled time for many, it’s so important that we keep a level of normality in place for our children.
“Yes schools are closed, but learning will go on! We cannot expect parents and carers to take on their children’s education alone and we must ensure teachers are fully supported during this period of home-learning.”
