Fans of This Morning, Lorraine and Good Morning Britain listen up: all three of our daily morning favourites are set to broadcast live on Christmas Day for the first time ever.
The best Black Friday beauty deals (opens in new tab) have kicked off, the Amazon Christmas Shop is open (opens in new tab) for business, and John Lewis have released a new app (opens in new tab)that allows you to virtually try your Christmas tree before you buy. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here.
And just when we thought we couldn't get any more excited for the arrival of the big day, Holly and Phil have only gone and announced that they're coming to our screens on Christmas morning!

Susannah Reid and Piers Morgan, Lorraine Kelly, and Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield all will be coming to us live on 25th December – so you can finish unwrapping your presents in the company of your TV favourites.
Piers and Susannah will kick us off at 7am on Good Morning Britain, with the onscreen duo set to celebrate the unexpected heroes of 2020. Captain Tom, the 100-year-old veteran who raised millions for charity by walking 100 laps of his garden during lockdown, will appear alongside the thousands of heroic NHS staff helping to battle Covid-19.
Lorraine Kelly will grace our festive screens at 9am to interview special guests and share her Christmas beauty and fashion tips. Then at 10am, we’ll be treated to a Christmas dose of our favourite TV duo, as Holly and Phil bring us a very special (not to mention, historic) episode of This Morning.
And it’d seem that Holly is just as excited about the news as we are.
“Doing this really is like a Christmas gift in itself,” she said. “Just the thought of being on the telly during the excitement of Christmas morning with everyone, especially this year, is so special.
“We are going to have such fun filming this show and I hope viewers will enjoy it just as much as us.”
Phillip chimed in with his own delight at the news saying, “What an absolute honour to be in people’s living rooms on Christmas day. We have never done this before, so to be part of another ‘first’ for the show is extra exciting for us."
“This special two hour show will have plenty for the whole family to enjoy throughout the morning… and I’m sure Holly and I will get to enjoy a festive tipple too!” Now that we can get on board with.
Also excited by the historic news was Lorraine, who said, “I’m so looking forward to celebrating Christmas with our brilliant viewers. It’s been a tough year and we need some fun and a chance to celebrate.”
We couldn’t agree more, Lorraine. This Christmas might be set to look decidedly different, but we can’t wait to have our favourite faces filling us with festive cheer.
