The Loose Women ladies aren't ones to keep their emotions close to their chest, and are usually more than happy to share their thoughts and feelings on plenty of topics with their fans.

And yesterday, one of the show's main anchors, Andrea McLean, recorded an emotional Instagram video, after receiving some brilliant career news.

The 49-year-old revealed to her fans that her book, Confessions of a Menopausal Women, has achieved the status of an Amazon best-seller - and it looks like she was touched by the hugely positive response.

Welling up, Andrea confessed to her fans, "I needed to say a huge thank you to you, because I’m number one in female biographies on Amazon and I’m number three on best-selling books on Amazon."

Sharing her reaction to the news, she went on, saying, "I can’t tell you how much that means to me, so so so much.

"Just to know that everyone has got behind it, and that it’s helping so many people. It makes me so so happy, so thank you."

The mum-of-two also shared a heartfelt thanks to radio DJ Zoe Ball, for sharing her support for the book.

Andrea said, "I also want to say a massive, massive thank you to the lovely Zoe Ball for having me on Radio 2 today. Zoe, I just know that you being so enthusiastic about the book made a massive difference. So thank you!"

The Loose Women presenter's book, which was released last year, covers everything from Andrea's anecdotal experience of the menopause, to tips and tricks for diet and exercise during what can be a tricky stage of life.

During her candid video, Andrea also thanked the BBC, who have been covering a special focus on the menopause all throughout this week.
