'I’m not against anything': Andrea McLean reveals why she'd never rule more Botox out

Andrea McLean

Loose Women presenter Andrea McLean has opened up in a candid chat about her thoughts on surgery, revealing she wouldn't rule it out in future.

The mum-of-two has already revealed that she's had Botox on her face before, but not since her November 2017 wedding to Nick Feeney.

She admitted to Fabulous online, "I’m not tempted to get anything else done at the moment. But I’d never rule it out, there’s some really clever people out there.

"I don’t have any Botox at the moment, I haven’t had any for a long time. I think the last time was before my wedding, which was 18 months ago, lots of girls would have a refresh before something like that."

The popular presenter also shared that her interest in surgery isn't to make herself look younger, but just to help her feel good in herself.

Andrea said, "I’m not against anything. I just like to look healthy and good for my age - I don’t want to look younger."

49-year-old Andrea also told the website that she's more content with her looks now than ever before, saying she's 'quite chilled' about it all.

"I think all of us look back at pictures of ourselves 10, 20, 30 years ago and think ‘I wish I hadn’t been so hung up on that," she explained.

"I accept I look different, because I am different. I’m 20 years older, so of course I’m going to look different. I’m quite chilled about it really."

The Loose Women anchor has always been open about her experiences with ageing, including her journey through the menopause.

Speaking openly about her symptoms, she recently revealed that she's come to rely on CBD oil for her menopausal anxiety. She told the Daily Mirror, "I’m on the lowest dose and it has literally made me feel like a different person."
