The One Show host Alex Jones has revealed that she's welcomed her second baby just weeks after heading off on maternity leave.
Sharing the lovely news in an Instagram post, she revealed that she had welcomed a boy with her partner Charlie, and also announced her son’s name.
In the sweet message, she said, ‘And then there were 4!!! Little kit Thomson arrived safely and very speedily last Monday at 2.21am weighing a healthy 7lbs 3.
‘Teddy, Charlie and I are absolutely besotted by baby brother and are enjoying this special time as we get used to being a foursome and generally breathing in that lovely newborn smell!!!
‘A huge thank you to the midwives at the birth centre, Queen Charlotte Hospital for everything you did for us. #nhsheroes’.
Alex also shared a gorgeous picture of her newborn son’s tiny hands, with a small glimpse at his face too.
Fans were delighted for the new mum-of-two, including many of her celebrtity friends, who commented congratulations on the post.

Alex also phoned in to The One Show on Monday night to share the news, hilariously revealing that her first-born Teddy is going to be disappointed that his new brother won’t be named after Thomas the Tank Engine.
She explained, “Breaking the news that we’re not actually going to call him Thomas is going to be quite tricky,”
During Alex’s maternity leave, her role on The One Show will be covered by various presenters including Emma Willis, Mel Giedroyc, Angela Scanlon, Stacey Dooley. It’s not been confirmed when she’ll return to the show, but presenters will be covering her until at least September.
