Adele's Las Vegas residency could be rescheduled for October 'at the earliest'
The future of Adele's canceled Las Vegas residency looks uncertain
Ticketholders for Adele's Las Vegas residency could be waiting until October 2022 at the earliest to see the star perform, after the highly-anticipated concerts were canceled at the last minute.
The British superstar landed herself in hot water last month after leaving thousands of fans unsure of the status of her shows' future—and it looks she won't be delivering any promising updates any time soon.
Adele canceled her Las Vegas residency at the last minute on 20 January, tearfully delivering the news in an emotional video on her social media platforms.
'Weekends with Adele' was due to take place at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace Hotel every Friday and Saturday for the next three months, in what would have been the singer's official return to live gigs after a nearly six-year-long hiatus.
Unfortunately, production on the concert series was halted just one day before opening night, due to delays and staff shortages from Covid-19. Adele promised ticketholders that she would be rescheduling all the dates, but has yet to provide any further information on the show's future.
Adele's set at the Colosseum has since been removed and some of her slots have been replaced by country singer Keith Urban, fueling widespread fears that the 33-year-old may scrap the residency altogether. The Tottenham native has now fled Las Vegas to return to Los Angeles, where she has reportedly moved in with her new boyfriend, Rich Paul.
With Adele and her team refusing to provide an update on the concerts, fans have taken it into their own hands to predict when they'll finally get to see their musical idol in action.

The calendar for the Colosseum's shows over the next few months reveals that there's no room for the Easy on Me singer to reschedule until October 2022—and that's at the earliest. The upcoming seasons have already been promised to Rod Stewart, Sting, and Van Morrison, which means—unless Adele wants to collab—it won't be possible to return to Las Vegas until the winter.
And if she wants to secure the November and December dates, she'll have to move fast. The Christmas period at the Colosseum is unsurprisingly in high demand, hosting the likes of Mariah Carey and Shania Twain in previous years.
