Here's a little look into what you can find in our Vegetarian Entertaining mag…
1) Soups and starters
We've got you covered for fab vegetarian recipes to get your dinner party off to a great start - and what's even better is that these recipes work just as well for lunch! Try a soya bean, spinach and pea soup for a twist on a classic, or an easy tikka butternut soup that's also gluten and dairy free! A roasted squash with ricotta and lemon is a smart starter that's ready in under an hour and James Martin's salt baked beetroot is something extra special.
2) Food for friends
There's nothing better than a one-potrecipe when you're expecting a crowd. They're easy to make and there's less washing up - bonus! You'd be surprised how many veggie options there are, from beetroot balls with Spanish-style sauce, to spicy lentil and sweet potato stew and bean and root veg pot. These one-pots are a fab way to get loads of seasonal veg into one recipe.
3) Festive feasts
If you're looking for vegetarian recipes to inspire you over the festive period, look no further. A melting-middle savoury cheesecake is such a treat and really pushes the boat out in terms of creativity and goes really nicely with a sweet chutney. A sweet potato, cheese and pecan gratin is ideal for sharing, and Peter Gordon's crumbled Camembert, apple and mango salad is so delicate.
4) Party food to share
Elegant little nibbles like Mexican roasted sweet potato bites are ideal for vegetarian guests at your drinks party, as are tempura courgette with lemon mayonnaise - they're easy to dip and pass around! Or, vegan baby roast potatoes with herb salt are so easy to make and a real party food hit.
5) The best of baking
Our chocolate, hazelnut and salted caramel cake is a real showstopper, with its caramel drip effect and layers of chocolate and hazelnut sponge. Dishing this up or a beetroot cake with chocolate ganache is such a treat for guests and the perfect way to finish off a wonderful vegetarian dinner!
Expect plenty more vegetarian recipes, from starters and canapés to both elaborate and simple mains and so many desserts.
