Mindy Kaling proves she's mastered the art of color-blocking with this fabulous outfit

Another day, another amazing outfit by the wonderful Mindy Kaling.

Just a few weeks after looking awesome in a pretty crop top and matching skirt, Mindy surprised fans in a wonderful pink and red colorblock gown from Bibhu Mohapatra's resort 2023 collection.

The 43-year-old actor and comedian donned the outfit at the season 3 premiere of her Netflix show Never Have I Ever in Los Angeles. 

Featuring puffy short sleeves and a strapless top, Mindy's overall outfit earned a lot of praise. She wore sandal stilettos with gold straps by Giuseppe Zanotti to finish off her look, plus a ruby ring, a thin bracelet and large diamond earrings. The star wore her hair in a loose bun and her makeup was mostly au natural, albeit featuring a rosy lip. She looked absolutely fabulous.

Mindy actually shared a photo of her look before heading to the premiere. "What a week it’s been talking about this amazing new season of @neverhaveiever!," she wrote in the caption to her post. "And now headed to the season 3 premiere, to see my favorite people, the cast and crew and FANS!"

The dress' designer Bibhu commented on the series of photos, simply saying, "Mmmmmmmmmm……. Mindy!!!! 😍😍"

Fellow celebrities also took to social media to comment on Mindy's look.

"So excited!," noted Reese Witherspoon, who will reprise her iconic role of Elle Woods in the upcoming movie Legally Blonde 3, which Mindy will actually write the script for.

Fellow actor Olivia Munn wrote, "You couldn’t be prettier 🌸❤️" and Kerry Washington excitedly commented, "OOOOO Can't wait!!!!" 

This has unofficially become the summer of Mindy. In fact, since opening up about her weight loss, Mindy has revealed a brand new look that keeps fans wanting more. 

In April, for example, the star wore a white-collared dress by Celine with matching Jimmy Choo white stiletto heels. She also rocked a pink jumper dress from Ganni, stunning fishnet bustiers and *that* standout Moschino suit with no bra throughout the past few months.

Speaking of weight loss, Mindy told Entertainment Tonight that, despite her clear slim-down, she eats "what I like to eat" but focuses on portion control. 

"If I do any kind of restrictive diet, it never really works for me," she said to the outlet a few months back. "I just eat less of it. I wish there was something more juicy or dynamic about the way that I've lost a little bit of weight, but that's the way I've done it."

Clearly, whatever she is doing is working wonderfully well!
