Hannah Waddingham officially returned to our screens last night in the much-anticipated season 4 of Ted Lasso, and whilst we're delighted, it's the elegant outfit she wore in New York yesterday that has really caught our attention.

Proving that a pop of sky blue can completely transform a smart-casual outfit, Hannah styled her black knitted skirt and matching cardigan with two statement accessories - a vintage Fendi Baguette satchel and coordinating blue stilettos.

Not only are we eyeing up her vibrant bag and shoes, but her Maje cardigan and black midi-skirt with white embellished daisies is still available to buy. And the floral embellishment make it an ideal choice for summer style.

Sky blue has cemented itself as one of the key spring/summer fashion colour trends 2026. However, Hannah's outfit is a reminder that this shade doesn't have to be reserved for block colour looks. Styled against black, the soft pastel shade has even more impact, adding brightness and contrast without overwhelming the outfit.

A smart knitted co-ord is also a polished alternative to the best summer dresses, especially as temperatures cool. Plus, you can always style the pieces individually too. From pairing the knitted cardigan with the best wide-leg jeans to styling the midi skirt with simple t-shirts, the options are endless.
