Hush's best-selling pieces demonstrate perfectly why the brand has quietly amassed such a huge following
Featuring fun loungewear and spring summer essentials starting at £49!
Over the past 15 years Hush has steadily grown into one of the UK’s leading fashion and lifestyle labels.
They position themselves as a brand for the modern day woman, who loves fashion, but isn’t a slave to it. Somehow they still fly under the radar, but we suspect not for long as it's now one of John Lewis & Partners most searched for fashion brands.
Founder, Mandy, moved from Australia to the UK in 2001 with her now husband and business partner, Rupert. She created the brand during her first English winter, where she found herself spending more time at home, adapting to the dark, cold winter. She wanted to enjoy that time in nice and comfortable clothing, but couldn't find what she wanted anywhere, so in 2002 launched Hush. It started as a website and small catalogue selling pyjamas and loungewear. Fast-forward 17 years and the still privately owned company now has nearly 300k active monthly customers.
Having progressed from just pyjamas and loungewear, Hush now offers a range of daywear, nightwear, footwear and accessories. Their designs interpretate classic shapes in a contemporary way, creating clothing that are easy-to-wear, make you feel amazing, and collect you lots of compliments!
In the words of Mandy herself, “I want to look good, but I don’t want to spend hours doing so. I want to be comfortable, but not at the expense of style. So, we’ve always made clothes that look great, but are also versatile, practical and very wearable.”
