Clarks is fast-becoming the place to shop for shoes on the high street – and the SS16 collection could well be the most impressive yet. Thanks to collaborations with major designers, Clarks has shaken off its stuffy image to become a stylish woman’s go-to for comfortable, fashion-forward footwear that stays looking fabulous day in, day out without compromising on quality or price.

This season Clarks have teamed up with the famous V&A Museum to create a dreamy 60s inspired collection, and we’ve been given a sneak peek of what’s on offer.

Back in the 60s, women were on the brink of a style revolution, swapping their teetering stilettos for chunky heels, kitten heels and of course, the timeless slip on. Meanwhile men were donning winklepickers and chelsea boots. Inspired by the decade Clarks and the V&A have created this adorable collection of pretty flats, gorgeous Mary Janes and practical-but-chic loafers.

The styles combine Clarks’ shoemaking expertise with artistic prints and unexpected colour combinations – resulting in a unique range of styles that are just perfect for every modern woman’s wardrobe. Vintage lovers will be instantly drawn to the sling-back styles, whilst those looking for something a little less feminine will find their perfect pair in the form of patent leather loafers.
