What’s more, as it’s dairy free it’s suitable for anyone with intolerances too, but tastes just as great as the real thing. Using coconut frozen yogurt to give it that frozen smoothness, you can also top it with fresh coconut too if you want something extra special.

With passion fruit and mangoes, it contains a good helping of your five a day and has a lot of natural sweetness. And adding a little bit of maple syrup gives it that extra special sweetness that’s sure to satiate your sweet tooth.

This dessert recipe makes enough for four but you can easily half it or double it depending on how many people you’re feeding. It’s a great one to use up ay leftover fruit you’ve got in the fridge so keep a tub of coconut frozen yogurt in the freezer and it’s a quick fix pudding for any day of the week.

HOW TO MAKE DAIRY FREE MANGO AND PASSION FRUIT SUNDAE

Method

  1. Mix the passion fruit with the lime juice and maple syrup; set aside. Add a scoop of frozen yogurt to 4 serving glasses, divide the mango between each then top with another scoop of frozen yogurt.
  2. Drizzle over the passion fruit mixture and sprinkle over chopped coconut.

  • 2-3 ripe mangoes, sliced
  • 500ml tub coconut frozen yogurt (such as Yog Coconut Frozen Yogurt)
