Pass us the curling tongs right now.

Amanda Seyfried's Golden Globes look was a pure class act. Despite the virtual setting for this year's ceremony, Seyfried still brought her A-game to the proceedings for her nomination for Best Supporting Actress as Marion Davies in the film Mank.

Ahead of the show, Seyfried gave her followers an inside peak at the looks her style squad were creating. With the help of hairstylist and FEKKAI Artistic Director, Renato Campora, Seyfried paid homage to old Hollywood with soft, 1940s-inspired waves. The romance of the hair style complemented Seyfried's coral, off-the-shoulder Oscar de la Renta gown with floral detailing.

In an Instagram picture posted by Campora, you can see that after using a curling iron on Seyfried's hair, Campora has swooped the hair into a side part and pinned each curl while they cooled. It's an ol-school trick that means when you remove the pins, all that's need is to brush out the hair and finish with either hairspray or a texturising spray for soft hold.

As for Seyfried’s makeup? The hue of her dress led the makeup direction. Pro artist Genevieve Herr used Lancôme Teint Idole Foundation as a base before accentuating Seyfried's cheekbones with subtle contouring.

Herr then set about ringing around the actress' eyes with brown liner, before adding dimension to the lids with a palette of peachy, earth-toned shadows and several coats of Lash Idole mascara. In keeping with the tonal color theme, the finishing touch was a nectar-colorer lip.

Put simply, it's everything our post-quarantine Spring makeup dreams are made of.
