Prince Harry's spiritual connection with Princess Diana revealed - 'he never makes a decision without referring it to her in a spiritual sense'
A royal insider has revealed Prince Harry's spiritual connection with his late mother Princess Diana, who he still consults
Prince Harry's spiritual connection with his late mother, the Princess of Wales, has been revealed by a royal biographer in a recent podcast.
- Prince Harry lost his mother when he was just 12 years old.
- Despite losing his mother at a young age, the royal still has a spiritual connection with the late Princess.
- In other royal news, Duchess Catherine is 'nothing but a trier' when it comes to fixing Harry and William's relationship.
Prince Harry and his brother Prince William frequently speak about their mother and have even taught their children about 'Granny Diana'. The brothers have maintained their mothers charity work and in previous statements, Prince Harry spoke about HIV as he admits he feels ‘obligated’ to continue Princess Diana’s ‘unfinished’ activism.
As the brothers work to keep their mother's memory alive, a royal insider has revealed that for Prince Harry, the connection to his late mother goes much deeper.
Speaking to The Mirror's podcast, Pod Save the Queen, Andrew Morton discussed the ways that the Duke of Sussex involves his mother in his day to day life.
"I think that Diana's influence has lasted longer than anybody thought because her torchbearers in life, William and Harry, have not forgotten her and have held concerts in her memory," began the royal writer who wrote Diana: Her True Story in Her Own Words and more recently, Meghan: A Hollywood Princess.
The author then revealed, "Harry himself says that he never makes a decision without referring it to her in a spiritual sense."
This is similar to comments Prince Harry made earlier in the year when talking on the AppleTV+ series The Me You Can't See. During this show, Prince Harry revealed he can feel Princess Diana’s presence and knows she would have 'been proud of him'.

The royal author added that Princess Diana was fundamental when it came to modernising the Royal Family, and changing the perceptions about 'standoffish' royalty. "She marked a turning point in the way the Royal Family behaved and through her behaviour helped to modernise and make more human the Royal Family," said Andrew.
"So it wasn't big handbags, white gloves and standoffish. It was more touchy-feely than it had ever been in the past. So she made the Royal Family more relevant to modern times," the author concluded.
