Fans of MasterChef are going to have to wait a little longer for the conclusion of the current season. BBC One has suspended all of its programs, including MasterChef, out of respect for Prince Philip's death.

BBC One decided to pull the plug on all of its non-news programming out of respect for the recent death of Prince Philip. As the nation enters a period of mourning, BBC One will focus all its attention on continued news coverage in the wake of Philip's death.
The production company has yet to announce how long the shows will be postponed and when the finale will take place. A spokesperson for BBC One made an official statement to Metro News saying, "With the sad news that HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, has died, there is now special coverage across all BBC networks to mark his life of extraordinary public service and planned scheduling has been suspended."
Buckingham Palace confirmed the news of the Prince's passing with an official statement that read, "It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. ‘His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle."
Funeral details have yet to be announced, but more updates from the Palace should be coming within the next few days.
Who is in the MasterChef finale?
When we last left off, chefs Mike Tomkins, Alexina Anatole, and Tom Rhodes were headed into the finale to battle it out. While it may be a bit until we find out who the winner is, the crowned champion will take home the coveted MasterChef trophy and prestige that comes with winning the competition. Past winners have even gone on to open their own restaurants.
