The photo was taken earlier this week in the garden of Clarence House’.

And as always, the Duchess looked fabulous as she stunned in a striking blue dress.

The beautiful frock, which she was also spotted in earlier this week as she met with young carers at Youth Action Wiltshire’s activity centre, is perfect for summer with its relaxed fit and loose elbow-length sleeves.

We also love the high neck and stylish zip feature at the front which makes for a slightly more edgy and contemporary look.

And while this is a gorgeous pick for a birthday dress, it turns out that it is also quite close to the Duchess’s heart, as there is a special meaning behind her choice.

In a romantic nod to husband Prince Charles, who Duchess Camilla tied the knot with back in 2005, she chose a dress by the same designer who made her wedding dress.

The striking blue number was made by luxury fashion designer Anna Valentine, who designed the Duchess’s regal wedding dress that she wore 15 years ago.

How lovely!
