I'm a Celebrity viewers react to major 'tension' between these two campmates

I'm a Celebrity fans picked up on some "tension" between campmates AJ Pritchard and Shane Richie on Thursday night's show – and it seems the camp could be set to blow.

As the celebrities were sat around the fire munching on some food, Shane forcefully threw his container to the ground as he joked: "Right, who's doing the washing up? There you go. How do you like them apples?"

The camera quickly panned to AJ who didn't look very pleased with Shane's actions, as he told him: Just put it by the bucket."

As Shane then moved to put his dish away, AJ looked particularly frustrated. But it was the look AJ gave Shane when he put his hand on his shoulder that fans really reacted to.

"OH MY GOD THAT DEATH STARE!!" said one on Twitter. "You could cut the tension with a knife between Shane and AJ," another wrote.

"Feel like AJ may not be a fan of Shane #imacelebrity," a third added. A fourth wrote: "If looks could kill… feud incoming definitely between AJ and Shane."

The "incoming feud" between AJ and Shane wasn't the only news that warranted a reaction from fans.

Many were thrilled when it was announced that Giovanna Fletcher is the new camp leader.

"Giovanna getting voted for camp leader. Finally getting the acknowledgement she deserves," one happy viewer wrote. 

Another said: "Great to see Gi as the new camp leader, knew nothing about her coming I'm but she really is a very friendly and caring person."

A third added: "YES GIOVANNA GOT CAMP LEADER AS SHE SHOULD." 

While a fourth wrote: "Yay @MrsGiFletcher is the leader of camp!!! #ImACeleb excellent news!! #imacelebrity so happy about this  @imacelebrity development. Very well deserved."

Giovanna has proven to be a very popular campmate so it would come as no surprise if she was crowned the new Queen of the Jungle.
