Red Pepper Houmous

  1. Blend all the ingredients in a food processor until smooth and well combined.


  • 660g jar chickpeas
  • 3 roasted red peppers, roughly chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • ¼ tsp sweet smoked paprika
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • ½-1tbsp cold water
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • good squeeze lemon juice
Top Tip for making Red Pepper Houmous

You can find Spanish chickpeas in a large jar in larger branches of Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and M&S. They have a far better flavour than canned, but use canned if you wish
