Method
- Blend all the ingredients in a food processor until smooth and well combined.

- 660g jar chickpeas
- 3 roasted red peppers, roughly chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- ¼ tsp sweet smoked paprika
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- ½-1tbsp cold water
- 1 tbsp tahini
- good squeeze lemon juice

You can find Spanish chickpeas in a large jar in larger branches of Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and M&S. They have a far better flavour than canned, but use canned if you wish
