London has usurped all others as the capital of fashion thanks to bold designers like Mary Katrantzou, Christopher Kane and Jonathan Saunders. And this season, which showcased the autumn/winter 2014 trends to a global audience, didn’t disappoint.
New designers like Barbara Casasola and J. JS Lee held their own against established and celebrated designers from Peter Pilotto to big-hitter Burberry. The front rows were packed with international buyers, fashion editors and stars, making it a veritable celebration of British creativity.
And with high street stores from M&S to Whistles also delivering strong presentations of their capsule collections, there was even a slice of affordable style on offer, too.
If you didn’t have a front row seat, then enjoy the best of the fashion merry-go-round with our highlights from London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2014.
