Queen Camilla, Kate Middleton, and Sophie Wessex all wore the same brooches at King Charles III's first State Banquet on Tuesday for a very special reason.

The formal event marked the first State Banquet since the Queen's death and King Charles' ascension to the throne, but that doesn't mean Her Majesty's presence wasn't strong. Royal fans were quick to notice a special detail on Kate's bespoke gown - a yellow-ribboned brooch with a portrait of a young Queen Elizabeth II.
In the picture, the late monarch can be seen wearing a blue and white evening dress and Star of the Order of the Garter. A small red Tudor crown sits elegantly on top of the portrait.
Queen Camilla and Sophie Wessex followed suit, with both royal women had also pinned the same brooch to their dresses. The sentimental badges symbolize the wearer's inclusion in the Royal Family Order, an honor that is traditionally gifted to female members of the British monarchy by its patriarch or matriarch.
The Queen Consort wore a blue lace evening gown by Bruce Oldfield, pairing the stunning outfit with the late Queen's sapphire tiara and matching necklace and bracelet. Sophie Wessex also nailed the glamorous dress code, showing up in a floor-sweeping, teal dress with a v-neckline and elbow-length sleeves. She teamed the ensemble with an aquamarine tiara, a clutch by Jimmy Choo, and LK Bennett heels.
