Sarah Ferguson reveals how proud she is of Princess Beatrice in previously unseen letter


Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, has thanked royal fans for their kind wishes after her daughter Princess Beatrice’s engagement announcement with a lovely handwritten note.

Princess Beatrice’s wedding is fast approaching, after it was confirmed she is due to tie the knot to her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in May.
And following a flurry of best wishes sent to the York family, Fergie responded to royal fans with a lovely handwritten note.
The letter was shared by a fan on Instagram, who wrote, ‘Just received this lovely thank you card from Sarah the Duchess of York on the occasion of Princess Beatrice's engagement--was a fantastic surprise this morning!’

In the letter, Duchess Sarah wrote, 'Thank you so much for your congratulations and kind wishes.
‘We are so proud to be sharing this sensational and happy news. We are so excited to be welcoming Edo into our family.

‘Beatrice and Edo are so excited and thrilled to be embarking on their new life together.

‘Thank you so much for your kindness and support over the years.’
The couple will be tying the knot in just three months, on Friday 29 May 2020 – less than a year after they became engaged in Italy in September 2019.
The official announcement also read, ‘Her Majesty The Queen has kindly given permission for the ceremony to take place at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace.
‘The ceremony will be followed by a private reception, given by The Queen, in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.’
