Ruth Langsford proved her fashion sense is up to royal standard yesterday when she appeared on our morning telly screens in a gorgeous M&S dress, recently worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.

The TV presenting star, who is currently standing in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield to host This Morning alongside husband Eamonn Holmes, took to social media ahead of her airtime to share a snapshot of her outfit of the day with her followers.

Showing off her impeccable style with fans, Ruth posed for a photo in the gloriously feminine Printed Yoke Midaxi Waisted Dress from the famous high street retailer.

Ruth teamed the pretty frock with a clean white belt and a pair of nude court heels from Topshop and achieved a chic and classic look.

In the comment section beneath the Instagram upload, some of Ruth's eagle eyed fans were quick to point out that a member of the royal family had sported the same look very recently.

'Looks lovely, I think the Duchess of Cambridge wore this dress too,' one wrote.

Last month, the same printed, blue and white piece was worn by the Duchess when she hosted an online assembly via video call for the Oak National Academy - one of her many virtual lockdown engagements.

Thanks to Kate and Ruth's epic impact on the fashion world, the dress is no longer available to buy online, which is no surprised considering it was generously reduced from £39.50 to just £15.

Luckily, if you're obsessed with the dress' sweet floral print, there's a skirt available in the same pattern which is still in stock in a few sizes and priced at a mere £14.50 right now.
