On Sunday 14th March 2021, the UK celebrated Mothering Sunday. Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie shared a lovely image of her newborn son August to celebrate Mothering Sunday.
In a post on Instagram, she photographed her newborn child lying outside on a blanket among the daffodils. August, who is nearly 6 weeks old, wore fluffy bunny slippers, a whale patterned onesie, a knitted cardigan and a matching hat. The Princess captioned the adorable image, “I'm so excited to be August's mum, and as you can see I'm enjoying my first Mother’s Day.”

Princess Eugenie continued to write in the caption, “I'm also celebrating my beautiful Mumma with this picture of us from March 1990. You’ve taught me so much. Happy Mother’s Day to all.”
Fans loved this post from the royal and many flocked to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day. One fan commented, “Happy Mother's Day to you and your mum! What a cutie little August is!” Another said, “Baby August is so adorable! Happy *first* Mother’s Day to you Princess Eugenie!”
Fans also spotted that August was wearing slippers that were very similar to the ones the Princess posted in her pregnancy announcement. One fan said, “Omg the slippers that you got for him when you announced the pregnancy!”
In September 2020, the Princess and her husband Jack Brooksbank announced their pregnancy by posting a tiny pair of teddy bear slippers with the caption, “Jack and I are so excited for early 2021....”
