According to the Sunday Times, (opens in new tab) Meghan and Harry filmed the interview last week, before the official announcement from the royal family that they would no longer be working royals.
However, sources have said that friends are worried that Meghan may regret what she's told the talk show host - especially when it airs next month.
Speaking about the Oprah interview the source said Meghan agreed to the interview as she wanted 'get her voice back'.
The source said: "Having an institutional voice within the royal family wasn't enough [for Meghan]. This interview will be the loudest way she'll get her voice back."

The source went on to say: 'When they first started dating Meghan felt she had lost her voice. She had had a platform as a moderately successful actress, and when she was told to stop using her social media and be careful what she said, I could tell that loss of voice and independence pained her.'
The interview, which will be part of US presenters new show, The Oprah Conversation, was confirmed last week, with CBS saying: "Winfrey will speak with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure."
On Friday a statement from Buckingham Palace confirmed that Harry and Meghan will not be returning to the Royal Family as working royals. The couple also announced the news of their second pregnancy last week.
Oprah, who is said to be a close friend of the couple, not only lives near Harry and Meghan in Montecito, California, but also attended their wedding in May 2018.
