The Kate Middleton effect is still going strong in fashion, with many of us more than happy to take style cues from the Duchess of Cambridge.
- On Tuesday Prince William and Kate Middleton carried out public visits in County Durham.
- The Duchess of Cambridge recycled a Fair Isle knitted jumper and lace-up boots for the occasion.
- In other royal news, Kate Middleton is a "secret radical" who is quietly "changing the crown forever", according to this royal expert.
From Kate Middleton's dresses to her excellent knitwear choices, royal fashion fans are delighted when the duchess opts for high street fashion brands, with her favourites ranging from Zara and & Other Stories to Ghost and LK Bennett. And thankfully, her latest outing is no exception to the rule.
During a recent public appearance in County Durham, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid an outdoorsy visit to a local sustainable farm and a children's project at a community centre.
Catherine wore a Fair Isle jumper by Brora and lace-up boots by See by Chloé for the occasion, sensibly switching to a well-loved pair of Penelope Chilvers knee-high boots and Seeland jacket for the farm visit.
Both items are old favourites from her wardrobe; eagle-eyed royal fans will remember that Duchess Catherine wore this jumper during the couple's train tour of the country last year.
The engagements came just days before William and Kate's 10th wedding anniversary celebrations—yes, it really has been that long!
