Not only are the two women both passionate and lovable, but they also share another similarity—their name. That's right, Meghan was actually born 'Rachel', just like her on-screen persona. 

However, like many Hollywood celebrities, the former actress ditched her first name before becoming famous and embraced the slightly more unusual 'Meghan.' While the reason for the swap remains a mystery, some experts have suggested the alliteration of her initials may have been a showbiz tactic to boost the catchiness of her name. 'Rachel Markle', though still beautiful, just doesn't roll off the tongue as smoothly as Meghan Markle, now does it?
