The Duke of Sussex’s former partner, Chelsy Davy, has welcomed a healthy baby boy.

Prince Harry will no doubt be sending well wishes to his ex-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, after she gave birth to her first child.

According to the Daily Mail, insiders claim Chelsy, 36, gave birth at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital last month.

The editor of the Daily Mail, Richard Eden revealed one of Chelsy’s closest friends told him, “Chelsy gave birth to a healthy boy. She’s named the baby Leo.”

Chelsy is yet to publicly confirm the news, or even reveal the identity of her mystery boyfriend.

The Duke of Sussex and Chelsy met in Cape Town in 2004 during his gap year and went on to date for seven years, before parting ways in 2011 as Chelsy had no desire to be a royal.

At the time, royal watchers couldn’t imagine Prince Harry with anyone else as his relationship with Chelsy was “a real love match”.

Royal author, Richard Kay, previously noted a “great passion between the two of them when they're together" and spoke of an “electricity, sparks flying everywhere”.

At the time, he said, "I would say that of all the royal romances currently going on, theirs was the real true thing, it's the real deal.

"And I suspect unless something catastrophic happens, they will marry.”

Chelsy since released a stunning jewellery range and made no secret of how “uncomfortable” she found life in the spotlight with Prince Harry.

Five years after their split, she reflected on their whirlwind romance. “Yes it was tough. It was so full-on: crazy scary and uncomfortable,” she said.

“I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn’t cope. I was young, I was trying to be a normal kid and it was horrible.”

Five years after the couple called time on their romance, Prince Harry went on to meet and marry Meghan Markle.

The pair have two children together and are living happily in America.
