The Great British Bake Off teases the most 'dramatic' week ever with shocking trailer
Bake Off Patisserie week is set to shock viewers with one of 'the most challenging showstoppers the tent has ever seen'
Great British Bake Off fans have been promised a 'dramatic' week with unbelievably challenging bakes as the trailer for patisserie week is released by Channel 4.
The Great British Bake Off series 12 semi-final trailer has been released and fans are delighted by what promises to be the most dramatic episode of the series.
Channel 4 released the trailer online with the caption that read, "If you thought tonight was dramatic, you ain’t seen muffin yet! Bake Off: The Semi-Final. Next Tuesday. 8pm. . #GBBO"

In the trailer, fans watched in horror as Jürgen, Chigs, Guiseppe, and Crystelle all struggled with the challenging bakes of the semi-final.
Guiseppe appeared to be struggling with one of the tasks as presenter Matt Lucas joked that his bake looked like 'pooey porridge." Crystelle also seemed to be struggling as she announced to the camera, "Oh God, I feel like I'm giving birth."
"I ain't got a clue what's going on," said Chigs at one point as he looked baffled by the technical challenge. The baker later commented "I can't stop shaking," as he continued with the task and candidly revealed to the judges, "this has never worked in practice."
Even Jürgen seemed to be in trouble as he held his red-stained hands up to the camera. From the smile on his face, fans could guess that the stain was most likely red food dye and not blood as it first appeared—phew!

Although it isn't clear what they will be baking in the tent, Noel Fielding did reveal in the trailer that there will be a 'multi-layered signature,' a 'multi-staged technical' and 'one of the most challenging showstoppers the tent has ever seen.' How exciting!
The semi-final is set to take place on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Meaning there are less than two weeks until the Great British Bake Off final.
There are just four bakers remaining in the tent from the original twelve Great British Bake Off contestants. All of the bakers who have made it to the semi-final are in a strong position but patisserie week has been known to be make or break for even the strongest bakers.
The Great British Bake Off continues on Channel 4 at 8 pm on Tuesday.
