Strictly Come Dancing bosses could put stars in isolation to SAVE the show

The stars of this year's Strictly Come Dancing could be put into isolation with their professional partners in a bid to ensure the show can air in September.
In just a matter of months the stars of this year's Strictly Come Dancing are due to be announced.
But, the current coronavirus pandemic is threatening the future of the show as the celebrities and professional dancers need to spend time together in order to train for the show - which is against social distancing rules.
Now a show insider has claimed producers are brainstorming several back-up plans in case the pandemic continues into the second half of the year - including filming the BBC show without a studio audience and forcing the stars to live with their dance partners.
According to The Sun, a source said, "The stars would be put into isolation with their pro partners over a week before the start of the series to avoid risks of illness.
'"In theory they would stay in the same place and train together daily with minimal contact with the outside world."
While it might seem "an extreme idea," it's one that has allowed the German version of the show - on which Motsi Mabuse is also a judge.
Motsi's sister Oti Mabuse - who won the show last year with Kelvin Fletcher - appeared on Lorraine earlier this week to discuss the future of the show.
She said, "'Right now we hope that everything's gonna be okay, or are we not sure?
"We're just hoping that everything can be okay. I think at the moment it's really important to listen to the government guidelines and just take it day by day.
"The most important thing is that everyone is safe and everyone is healthy. So, at the moment, we're all just isolated together. We're all in the same boat really."
It comes just weeks after two of the show's most popular professional dancers - Kevin Clifton and AJ Pritchard - quit the show to pursue other things.
Piers Morgan has slammed the idea on Good Morning Britain, hinting that it could give way for further instances of the "Strictly Curse" happening before the show has even begun.
He said, "So they've had an idea. I wonder how this idea went down with all the partners - the real partners? The other halves, the wives, the girlfriends, the husbands and boyfriends now, of course."
"Everyone on Strictly apparently found their partners so irresistible they had to take their work home with them," Piers joked. "And now, now they're all going to be put in isolation together for months. How's that going to work?"
