The Strictly 2022 trailer has finally dropped after a nine-month wait and fans of the hit show are positively kvelling over the upcoming season and centenary special.

You read that right, centenary. Strictly 2022 will kick off with the hit dancing competition's 100th episode. Needless to say, when the show's loyal fanbase finally got a teaser trailer of the new season, they couldn't contain themselves.

In the trailer, Strictly's incredible professionals are seen dancing across the UK, showing beautiful locations the length and breadth of the country. As well as this, they're seen doing some incredibly high kicks in the show's famous studio, tearing up the dance floor with killer routines and puffs of glitter too. Fan favorites such as Giovanni Pernice, Dianne Buswell, and Nancy Xu give it all they've got - all to the tune of a cover of Nina Simone's classic, Feeling Good.

Unsurprisingly, fans are feeling good about the trailer and have made their feelings very clear, all saying the same thing - that they absolutely love it!

"The new strictly trailer is taking up a whole lot of real estate in my head already omg so so good," tweeted one excited fan. "Quite possibly the best strictly trailer they’ve done in a long time!" said another.

One eager beaver even went so far as to tweet, "this is my all-time favorite strictly trailer it's absolutely beautiful so excited x."

Ahead of the latest installment of the show, the Strictly 2022 contestants have been hard at work - readying themselves to compete for the Glitterball trophy. Although it appears all is going well, it wouldn't be Strictly if there weren't a few rumors about drama on and off set. One particular rumor, about there being beef between Anton Du Beke and Bruno Tonioli was quickly put to bed, as Anton said any suggestion was absolute nonsense.
