Budget retailer Aldi sent shoppers around the country into a frenzy last year, when they released a range of Jo Malone dupe candles just in time for Mother's Day.
Customers went wild for the budget scents, which quickly drew comparisons to the higher-end range, but were on sale for a fraction of the price.
And now, Aldi have sparked yet more excitement among fans of the popular range, by releasing a brand new scent!
The hugely popular supermarket have unveiled their brand new Aldi candle, Peony Blush. The new fragrance likely takes its inspiration from the original Jo Malone scent, Peony and Blush suede, which they sell as a body scent and as a candle.
However, Aldi's version of the candle, like the rest of their candles, is available for a fraction of the price, at £3.99 for a 290g candle. Jo Malone's however sells for a more expensive £45, for a 300g candle.
A blogger, The Grey Maisonette, first brought the new scent candle to the attention of fans, with an exciting Instagram post. She wrote, 'THIS IS NOT A DRILL! @aldiuk have released a new scent, Peony Blush, and it is DIVINE! Such a perfect summery scent! My favourite of all of their Jo Malone dupes! 💙', alongside a picture of the candle.
Customers appeared utterly delighted at the find, flocking to the photo to share their excitement.
One wrote, 'Ooh can’t wait to try this one!', while another agreed, 'Oh I need this!'.
Peonies and peony-scented products have proven hugely popular with the celebrity set. One particularly famous fan is Meghan Markle, the new Duchess of Sussex, who has long spoken of her love for peonies. Before becoming engaged to Prince Harry, the royal confessed that peonies make her "endlessly happy" - so we're sure she'd love this new release!
The new Peony Blush scent is only available in selected Aldi stores at the moment. But it's thought that it will be available online imminently.
Aldi's latest candle release joins a range of other scents the retailer have already put on sale. Aldi currently already sell Pomegranate Noir, Lime, Basil and Mandarin, Pear and Fressia, and Blackberry scents. Also available is a range of reed diffusers and room sprays, in the same scents.
They've also recently added some body products to the line, including a hand and body cream, and a luxury body cream.
