While holidays are always exciting and often a welcome change from the norm, we all know the headaches that can often come with them.
Travel issues, bugs, and complications renting cars or finding your accomdation – all of these things can put a spanner in the works when it comes to relaxing and enjoying yourself.
And recently, Nadia Sawalha experienced perhaps one of the most infuriating travel issues around – unexplained flight delays.
The Loose Women star took to her social media to vent about the situation, as she prepared to travel from Glasgow to London.
She ranted, “I can’t believe it, I’ve fallen for it again. And this is the fourth time in a row that I have booked an easyJet flight, and said to myself, ‘Oh, it’ll be fine this time’. There couldn’t possibly be delays like the last three bloody times.
“I’ve just arrived at Glasgow airport, 2 hour delay. No apology, no nothing. Nothing on the board. That’s happened every time for the last three times.
Nadia continued, “Why do we keep trusting you? Do a better bloody job. You’re not giving it to us for free. You charge us practically to breathe bloody air on the plane!
“Oh, I’m so furious I can’t even speak. Get it sorted out, we’re all sick of it! I’m only going from Glasgow to London.”
Fans were quick to sympathise with Nadia, even offering ways to get around the problem next time. One commenter said, ‘I feel your pain Nadia!’, while another wrote, ‘Always get a morning flight less likely to be delayed at start of the day.’
Nadia isn’t the only Loose Women star who has jetted off recently. Her fellow panellist Carol McGiffin has recently returned from a break in Venice, while Ruth Langsford enjoyed a UK staycation with her husband Eamonn Holmes a few weeks back.
It’s not clear whether Nadia was on a break in Glasgow or working – but earlier this year, she enjoyed a sunny holiday to France with her Loose Women co-stars.
The ladies shared inside snaps of the break on their social media – of them taking part in workouts and swimming in the pool during the ‘wellness’ holiday.
Now that’s a holiday we would have loved to have been on!
