The Duchess of Cambridge is one of the world’s most popular fashion icons, with fans regularly coveting her sophisticated style.
Whenever she heads out on an official royal engagement, royal watchers are keen to work out exactly what she’s wearing and where it comes from – and how they can copy her regal fashion sense.
The royal is well known for her subtle, demure style, often picking nude or neutral colours when heading out for an engagement.
But recently, Catherine has been donning some rather more colourful choices, brightening up miserable January days with a brightly-coloured coats.
On Tuesday, the Duchess picked a hot pink Mulberry coat for a day of engagements in the city of Coventry, a piece she’s already worn twice before while pregnant with Princess Charlotte.
And on Wednesday, she continued the trend with a stunning orange coat, by none other than one of her high-street favourites, Boden.
The Duchess has long favoured the upmarket high street store, wearing many of their designs over the years.
Her orange coat for a day in London was the brand’s Lena coat. The design is also available in dark navy.
The coat is the perfect pick for the winter, with a stylish ruffled colour and sleeves complementing the simple tailored cut of the knee-length design. It’s on sale for a slightly pricey £220 – but if you’re looking for the perfect investment piece that will work year after year, there’s no need to look any further.
While wearing the coat, the Duchess headed to London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital, to hear about the facilities in the recently-completed Mittal Children’s Medical Centre.
