Were you watching the live final of ITV’s Dancing On Ice last night? Since the latest series of the skating show began on ITV back in January, we have been glued to our TV screens watching 12 famous faces battle it out to be voted this year’s winner.
And last night, the remaining three contestants took to the ice for the last time in an exciting live final.
Olympic boxer Luke Campbell was the first one to be eliminated after receiving the fewest public votes, leaving Eastenders actor Matt Lapinskas and gymnast Beth Tweddle to go head to head in a skate-off.
After both performing the Bolero – made famous by Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean at the 1984 Winter Olympics – Beth and her skating partner Dan Whiston wowed the judges with an ‘electric’ performance and were crowned this year’s Dancing On Ice champions.
Did you watch the show from the start, or did you get sucked into the skating series halfway through? Did you have a particular favourite? Were you pleased that Beth picked up the title?
