Couple goals: John Krasinski praises wife Emily Blunt in the sweetest way possible
"I wouldn’t be anywhere without her," John Krasinski said of his wife of over a decade
In a new interview, actor John Krasinski pays the ultimate compliment to wife of 12 years Emily Blunt, thanking her for her support both career-wise and family-wise.
"I wouldn't be anywhere in my life without her," John told Parade about Emily, a fellow actor who most recently starred in The English TV series. "On a daily basis, but certainly in a career-wise, as a dad, she pushes me to be better every single day at everything I do. So I look forward to the next day cause I know it'll be better than the one before."
Talk about couple goals.
Emily and John, parents to 8-year-old daughter Hazel and 6-year-old daughter Violet, first met back in 2008 through a friend.
"It's kind of a sad, lame story. I was in a restaurant, he was in the restaurant. I was sitting with a mutual friend," Emily recalled on Late Night with Seth Meyers back in 2018. "And my friend Gray goes 'Oh my god, that's my friend John.' And that was it. He was sitting with our friend Justin Theroux, and he abandoned Justin and came over to us. He just stood there and made me laugh."
The couple got engaged in 2009 and officially tied the knot on July 10, 2010 during a quiet ceremony at George Clooney's estate in Lake Como, Italy.
Since then, the two have embarked on their own professional journeys but did unite on screen a few times while starring in The Quiet Place franchise, which John also directed. In the successful horror film, the actors play a married couple with kids trying to survive in a dangerous post-apocalyptic world that has been taken over by monsters.

But John doesn’t seem to be his wife's only fan. Back in April, fellow actor and pal Jennifer Garner told PEOPLE that she swears by this simple recipe from Emily that has suddenly taken over the Internet.
Jennifer specifically called out Emily's English roasted potatoes recipe, revealing it has become a favorite among the three kids that she shares with now ex-husband Ben Affleck - Violet Affleck, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.
"I've made them consistently," she said. "Rarely a week goes by that I'm not in [the kitchen] peeling potatoes trying to make them like Emily's. My kids love them."
In addition to gushing over his amazing 39-year-old partner, in his most recent interview, 43-year-old John also discussed what his fans can expect from the much-anticipated third season of Jack Ryan, which was released on Amazon Prime last week.
"I really hope they are excited," the 43-year-old actor said about audience members. "We definitely had them in mind. I mean, we genuinely when we were coming back realized how long it had been between Season 2 and how long it was going to be between season three. And so in what we formulated as the story for the show in how much action is in the show. The fact that Jack is literally running away from the CIA in the show. We wanted to make it something that was big and really exciting for the fans to come back to so it was something worth waiting for."
