Sir Terry Wogan at the last minute has pulled out of hosting this year’s Children In Need due to “health reasons”, the first time he will not be hosting it since the show’s launch in 1980. Sir Terry said he would miss “our wonderful, inspiring evening” but would still be “watching, cheering and donating”.
The BBC announced Dermot O’Leary will be stepping in to host the annual fundraiser, starting at 7:30pm tonight on BBC1. Other guests on the show will include Tess Daly, Rochelle Humes, Nick Grimshaw and Fearne Cotton.
