Cookers at the ready - a fresh batch of stars are once again set to battle it out this summer to win the coveted MasterChef title - and this year's line-up is tipped to be one of the most passionate groups of celebrity cooks ever seen on the show! We're already speculating who will hack the heat and who will head home early.
Now in its twelfth year, the series will see 12 programmes air over the course of six weeks, with the first four weeks designed to whittle down the celebrities to the semi-finalists, before graduating through to the finals week. John Torode and Greg Wallace will be on hand to carry out those all-important taste tests. The first 60-minute episode of each heat week sees five new celebrities face the infamous 'Mystery Box Challenge' before they're thrown in at the deep end - heading to a professional restaurant kitchen and preparing dishes for paying customers. And that's just the beginning...
We can't wait to see what baking blunders and cooking catastrophes are in store. Scroll down to see the 20 celebrities hoping to follow in the footsteps of previous winners Alexis Conran, Kimberly Wyatt, Sophie Thompson, Ade Edmondson, Emma Kennedy, Phil Vickery, Lisa Faulkner, Jayne Middlemiss, Liz McClarnon, Nadia Sawalha and Matt Dawson as a MasterChef champion...
