Ben Miller interview

What's your favourite way to relax? I've recently been to Ibiza with my partner Jessica and son Sonny, just frolicking on the beach, which was great. I do love playing with Sonny – our favourite game is ‘squirrels'. We pretend that we're both squirrels and we're hiding nuts for the winter. It's brilliant!
My loves Science. I studied physics at university and I'm still a sucker for an experiment or scientific theory. Brian Cox's Wonders Of The Universe programmes had me hooked.
Bob Dylan. I will listen to any of his songs over and over.
Tea. I'm an enormous fan of it and I like tea as it was drunk before the Second World War – made with proper loose leaf tea leaves.
London. It's amazing how you can discover new things in the city every day. It's such a random place, a collection of villages.
My hates Taramasalata. I had some in Greece that had gone off when I was in my 20s and it's put me off it ever since.
The gym. Actually I don't mind the gym when I get there, but I hate the psychological battle I have to go through to get there. A bad meal. Every meal is so important and colours the rest of your day – my whole day can go into a spin if I make the wrong choice at lunchtime!
