From sophisticated urban dining to industrial chic accessories, Sainsbury’s has SS17’s interior trends nailed.
Every now and then, we find homeware buys that really strike a chord and this year’s collections at Sainsbury’s are real crowd pleasers. Beautifully designed and co-ordinated – at prices that mean you don’t have to think twice – it’s clear there’s a team of talented designers and buyers at the heart of all its offerings.
Sainsbury’s Home Accessories Buyer Anna Cross says the collections are ‘exciting, vibrant and playful’. Her favourite? The inspirational Restoration collection, which is designed to inject industrial chic into any room.
Encapsulating modern living, its edgy industrial aesthetics will inject style into any room, and you don’t have to shop the whole range to make an impact. The smooth graphite and white tableware looks super-stylish on a scrubbed wood table, teaming contemporary and vintage style that could be straight out of London’s hipster hotspots.
‘The Restoration collection has lots of graphic prints to liven up a room for summer,’ says Anna. ‘Create texture with the checked cushions and throws, and make a fun focal point for any room with the bulldog accessories. The bulldog lamp is a must-have for this season.’
Anna is also a fan of the Scandi cool Ethereal collection, which has a palette of pale greys and soft pastels, with marble effects and rose gold accents. The good thing about shopping these collections is that you can mix and match your favourite pieces.
