Masterchef winner, Shelina Permalloo, grew up on the tiny island of Mauritius which is renowned for the vibrant, colourful, delicately spiced cuisine that helped her triumph on last year's show.
Now Shelina Permalloo has written her first cookbook, Sunshine on a Plate (£20; Ebury) to inspire readers to give Mauritian cooking a go at home. And what better time to start than while the sun is shining...
