With one bottle flying off the shelves every single minute since its launch in the US, it’s fair to say we’re pretty excited to see L’Oreal Paris’ Hyalyronic Acid Serum reach our shores.
Here's what you need to know about L’Oreal's Hyalyronic Acid Serum
The lowdown on the L'Oreal Hyalyronic Acid Serum
As you might have guessed from the name, hyaluronic acid is the hero ingredient here. A hard-working hydrator that occurs naturally in our skin, a single molecule can hold an impressive 1000 times its own weight in water. Its levels start to drop as we age, so topping up with a serum will help to maintain moisture levels within the skin, plumping out wrinkles and lifting areas that need a little boost.
So far, so simple. But it’s the science that’s impressive here, with the clever folk at L’Oreal combining two types of Hyaluronic Acid for maximum efficiency. The macro acids work on the skin’s surface to hydrate and smooth, while the micros nestle deeper into the skin to tackle fine lines.
Clinical studies by independent institutes speak for themselves, with participants noticing a 60% reduction in fine lines over the course of six weeks. It’s nice and easy to slip into your routine too – massage into clean skin and follow with a moisturiser if your skin is especially thirsty.
With a very reasonable RRP of just £24.99, stock up pronto when it launches in March.
The exact launch date is TBC, but we'll keep you posted

Up your skincare game with these hard-working ampoules. Formulated with 10% glycolic acid, a hard-working AHA that unglues the gunk holding dead skin cells together, revealing a more radiant complexion in 7 days. Stock up before a big event.
Tame frizz and protect your hair from temperatures of up to 230°C thanks to this leave-in serum. Made from vegetal keratin (the protein that our hair is made up of) and cocoa butter, it’s surprisingly slippery, banishing flyaways without weighing hair down.
While we can’t promise a complete transformation, this tiny brush coats every single hair, creating the illusion of fuller, thicker brows in a couple of swipes. Available in six shades plus a clear gel for setting.

She caught the magazine bug during a stint as Fashion Editor of her university newspaper alongside her English degree, and hasn’t looked back since. As for the fashion bug, that came as part and parcel of growing up in the 90s, but the less said about that the better!
Jess’ average day in the office is spent researching the latest fashion trends, chatting to industry tastemakers and scouring the internet to bring you this season’s must-buy pieces - as well as advice on how to wear them. Weekends are equally fashion-focused, and Jess has been known to visit no less than five Zara stores in a single day in search of the perfect occasion dress.
The only thing that comes close to a buzz of finally tracking down that much-coveted dress is the joy of discovering a new beauty wonder product or hero ingredient. A beauty obsessive, Jess has tried everything from cryotherapy to chemical peels (minus the Samantha in Sex and The City-worthy redness) and interviewed experts including Jo Malone and Trinny Woodall.
