L'Oreal's best-selling serum from the States is launching in the UK and we can't wait
With one bottle flying off the shelves every single minute since its launch in the US, it’s fair to say we’re pretty excited to see L’Oreal Paris’ Hyalyronic Acid Serum reach our shores.
Here's what you need to know about L’Oreal's Hyalyronic Acid Serum
The lowdown on the L'Oreal Hyalyronic Acid Serum
As you might have guessed from the name, hyaluronic acid is the hero ingredient here. A hard-working hydrator that occurs naturally in our skin, a single molecule can hold an impressive 1000 times its own weight in water. Its levels start to drop as we age, so topping up with a serum will help to maintain moisture levels within the skin, plumping out wrinkles and lifting areas that need a little boost.
So far, so simple. But it’s the science that’s impressive here, with the clever folk at L’Oreal combining two types of Hyaluronic Acid for maximum efficiency. The macro acids work on the skin’s surface to hydrate and smooth, while the micros nestle deeper into the skin to tackle fine lines.
Clinical studies by independent institutes speak for themselves, with participants noticing a 60% reduction in fine lines over the course of six weeks. It’s nice and easy to slip into your routine too – massage into clean skin and follow with a moisturiser if your skin is especially thirsty.
With a very reasonable RRP of just £24.99, stock up pronto when it launches in March.
The exact launch date is TBC, but we'll keep you posted
