This Year’s Strictly Line-Up Revealed!
Lulu, Anita Dobson and Edwina Currie are among the 14 famous faces who will be strutting their stuff for this year's Strictly Come Dancing. The ninth series will kick off this Saturday 10 September at 6:10pm on BBC1 with a glitzy opening show, where the dancing hopefuls will get to show off their raw talent (or lack of) for the first time. The show will also see the celebrities paired up with their expert dance partners. Singer Jason Donovan and astrologer Russell Grant are among the men who will be hot-footing it across the nation's favourite dancefloor.
Hosts Sir Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly will steer us through the action, while Claudia Winkleman will once again join Tess for the results show.
And there is a new face on the team of hosts. Former Strictly contestant and dancing enthusiast Zoe Ball will take over presenting sister show It Takes Two on BBC2 directly after the Saturday results show.
Also returning are our fearsome foursome - head judge Len Goodman and fellow judges Alesha Dixon, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli.
This year's series promises to be the most spectacular yet, thanks to the biggest ever dance floor and a live programme from Wembley Arena, with an audience of around 6,500 Strictly fans, in aid of Children in Need. The programme will also return to Blackpool's famous Tower Ballroom for the Grand Final for the first time since series two, which will be shown in 3D. We can't wait!
